Hello Whistlers and those who want to whistle. Here’s what’s coming up in Season 2.
I’ll begin the season with a look at whistling in China. I’ll give a one-hour introduction to the 5,000 years of Chinese history to put it all in perspective. We’ll investigate some of the writings on whistling in China, from the ancient to the modern. I’ll discuss Sun Tzu’s Art of War and how its techniques helped in the defeat of an army with masterful whistling. We’ll explore the Daoist technique of Transcendental Whistling. Hopefully no spirits will be harmed in the process.
Later on in the season, I hope to cover topics such as The Beatles as whistlers, some greats in the Hall of Fame, such as Fred Lowery, Bing Crosby, Ronnie Ronalde, Roger Whittaker and others.
It is always been my hope to be in conversation with other whistlers, professional or amateur and I’m gonna reach and out and see who wants to talk or whistle.
I have a whole host of interesting topics and I hope to get to at least some of them in the following year.
